Product Review: Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream

What is it: It's a slightly pink, light facial cream, with a soft texture.

Expensive? Also moderately priced (about US$60) , it's a classic all-rounder from Clarins.

What's so good about it: I've got combination skin, and this cream absorbs well enough, and the finish is a slight sheen. It has a slight herbal scent, but seeing as it has a suprising number of natural extracts including ginseng, hops and safflower, it's understandable.

What's kind of crap about it: About the absorbing... sometimes after rubbing the cream in, it leaves little rolls of residue on the surface of the skin, as though it hasn't been absorbed effectively. I don't see why that happens, as I only use a pea size amount on either side of my face.

Would I use it again: Yes. It works well as an everyday cream, with the added bonus of being wrinkle-reducing.
